Potato Peel...what?

When Jane suggested that our book club read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society I was skeptical. I thought the title sounded bizarre and I couldn't figure out what in the hell it was about. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a sweet tale of post World War II relationships. I read the book in one day and I loved it. Only half of our book club members actually read the book, but those of us who finished it all loved the story. The book is comprised entirely of letters that the characters write to each other. It is such a great read and I highly recommend it.
