A small fry becomes a reader

My little man has recently discovered books. We have been reading to him since he was the size of a pea, but now he has become a reader. More often than not he grabs a book instead of a toy. Currently he is obsessed with Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? (Eric Carle strikes again). We bring it with us everywhere and have even bought a spare copy. He is constantly trying persuade his best friend (our dog) to enjoy it as well, but she just doesn't seem interested. As a teacher I spent more money on books than I care to think about. Now I am even selling children's books. There are so many incredible books for kids. What are some of your favorite children's books?
